Purchased for my 37" LCD TV and it's perfect for viewing at sofa level. Since then, I've upgraded to a 50" plasma and it's still perfect. Very study and good quality for the price. Could use a little bigger opening in the back to route cables through. Had to open it up larger using a drill cutter.

Product was well packaged for the long shipment from NY to CA. No braekage of any of the glass shelves. Components were easily assembled. Easily supports a 46" LCD TV. So what is the Digital TV Transition? Well for the past 45 plus years all television has been broadcasted in an analog signal. And since the biggest thing to happen to TV since the change to color television the government is no longer going to require television broadcasting companies to broadcast in analog.
